Actually, you can stream the FLAC from the Archive--just download one of the M3U files, and edit it to change (e.g.) "_vbr.mp3" to ".flac". This is how I stream Ogg files (although I have it semi-automated). I tried it with FLAC, and it seemed to be trying to work, except that I don't have enough bandwidth myself to stream FLAC.

I think the point about the bandwidth is that people are more likely to stream shows multiple times. (I know I do.) Just one download, there's no difference, but if thousands of people are REPEATEDLY streaming (downloading) the same shows over and over, that's a lot more bandwidth.

Frankly, I'd much rather see them add automatic streaming for the ogg files, which are of noticably better quality than the mp3s, AND use (slightly) less bandwidth!
